description

Australia's Mangroves is a book like never seen before, a beautiful ring book folder with 200 pages, more than 500 coloour photographs and many graphs, tables and other illustrations.
This book has turned out very well. It shows a wonderful overview of all 41 mangrove species existing in Australia. Norm Duke, the author, tells about each one of the 41 mangrove species in detail and also tells you where you can find this mangrove species all over the world. Mangrove species which do not exist in Austrlia are not part of the book.
Furthermore the author informs generally about mangroves, the animals living in the mangroves, how to protect the mangroves and a lots more.
You can see, that Norm Duke spent a lot of time making it easy to identify the different mangrove species. Many identificationtables and illustrations make it possible that even a complete layman is able to identify the 41 different mangrove species. The book has a water-proof 'mangrove identification wheel' attached.
An absolutely must for everybody who is interested in mangroves or loves mangroves!
